THE POSITION
- Proactively and regularly engage with Program partners to maintain positive relationships
- Analyze and manipulate large data
- Develop, monitor and manage processes to ensure contracts are in compliance
- Develop audit structure and perform regular program audits
- Review and approve risks that fall outside of DUA authorities
- Monitor program claims including large/complex claims
MUST HAVES
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in program underwriting and portfolio management
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in commercial underwriting (Property Casualty)
- CIP designation or working towards
- Post Secondary Education
- Established relationship with mid-large size national brokers and MGA’s
- Competent with Microsoft office tools
- Proven ability to manage broker relationships, including the ability to negotiate and influence
- Proven track record of effective portfolio management
- Demonstrated accountability and reliability in delivering quality and timely results
- Critical thinker with strong attention to detail
- Energized and skilled in managing multiple priorities
- Highly organized and proactive
