 THE POSITION

  • Generate quality new business leads through both networking and inbound referrals to ensure a consistent stream of new client activity.
  • Navigate multiple insurance company offerings
  • Collaborate with various franchisee offices to understand how to best leverage your commercial insurance knowledge to support their commercial clients.
  • Liaise between client and insurance companies to ensure proper coverage.
  • Responsible for continually building your commercial insurance knowledge, keeping up with trends, understanding policy wordings and coverages within key industry sectors.

MUST HAVES

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in Commercial Lines.
  • Level 2 General insurance license is required; CIP or CAIB considered an asset.
  • Self-starter with a strong sense of urgency and time management skills.
  • Skilled in business development, client advisory, critical thinking, decision making, teamwork and communication and possess a growth mindset.
