THE POSITION
Responsible for the profitable growth of the program’s portfolio of business through strong sales acumen and underwriting skills, this role requires experience in portfolio underwriting for Commercial Affinity business. Your primary responsibility of portfolio underwriting will be complimented by a strong understanding of how all areas work together in order for a program to run smoothly – including information technology, finance, sales and distribution. This is a unique role for someone who enjoys a fast pace and prioritizing multiple deliverables to get the job done.
MUST HAVES
- University degree, combined with CIP designation (or progress towards completion).
- 8-10 years of underwriting experience.
- Demonstrated communication and coaching skills.
- Strong project management, critical thinking, and negotiation skills.
- Demonstrated complex risk assessment.
