THE POSITION
As a Senior Underwriter you will be responsible for maintaining strong relationships with our extensive broker network. This role underwrites general property and casualty business with a focus on Communities. The successful candidate will excel at:
- Negotiating with brokers to successfully bind business.
- Underwriting new and renewal business.
- Relationship management and growth.
- Working autonomously and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Mentoring team members.
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum 4-6 years related experience preferred.
- Completed or pursuing CIP or FCIP designation.
- Experience with Commercial or Specialty Insurance preferred.
- Proficient communicator.
- Analytical and detail oriented.
- Fluent with Microsoft Office Products.
- Demonstrated time and organizational management skills.
- Minimal travel required.
