THE POSITION

  • Help build a dynamic and effective sales and marketing capability
  • Optimize the client experience through acquiring market intel and leveraging data
  • Be a trusted advisor for both internal and external business partnerships
  • Manage clear communications and build strong relationships with the broker network
  • Conduct review meetings and prepare presentation content within the company brand and across data platforms
  • Seek sales opportunities by positively positioning company offerings that are best suited to the identified needs
  • Use database management skills to ensure effective pipeline management, sales forecasting and portfolio insight
  • Attend events and networking engagements

MUST HAVES

  • Demonstratable scenarios of using innovative strategies to attain strong business results
  • Understanding of intermediary distribution channels and broker networks
  • Non-intermediated sales experience would be an additional asset
  • Applicable education and significant progressive sales and business experience within the insurance and/or financial services industries
  • Previous experience as an underwriter and/or a broker is an asset
  • Strategic planning and competitive intelligence gathering abilities
  • An effective brand ambassador and relationship builder with solid sales literacy
  • An exceptional communicator, you will need to be proactive, confident and self-motivated
