THE POSITION

  • Managing an existing portfolio of clients, providing high-quality service and advice, including risk identification, review and placement of insurance policies.
  • Preparing key insurance documents, including Broker of Record letters, Underwriting Submissions, Quote Comparison Reviews, Pre- and Post-Renewal Reports, Binders, Policy Reviews and Summary of Insurance.
  • Develop and communicate an understanding of a client’s business by conducting research and analyzing client’s operations.
  • Involved with cross border business to coordinate as point person on reverse flow business.

MUST HAVES

  • Minimum 5 years relevant insurance experience, either as a broker or underwriter.
  • Level 2 licence; CAIB or CIP designation preferred.
  • Detail and deadline oriented; able to handle multiple priorities.
  • Knowledge of Office 360; knowledge of EPIC is a plus.
  • Excellent communication (oral and written) skills; bilingual skills an asset.
